The participating institutions of IMPRS-ESM are supporting social life for the students and their integration.

German language courses are provided to all IMPRS students. For students who are not familiar with German, this will be helpful to integrate in the country and to improve social relations.

Occasionally, students organize movie nights and there is also a regular PhD student table when IMPRS-ESM and Hamburg University students meet for a friendly chat.
