Organisation and management - overview
The Speaker of the Research School and the Executive Committee are leading the IMPRS-ESM. They provide scientific directions to the school. The Coordinator organizes the day-to-day activities of the research school, guided by the Executive Committee. The Coordinator receives support from the office of the school.
Each doctoral student of the IMPRS-ESM is guided and supervised by an Advisory Panel of three to four scientists, which is identified at the very beginning of an individual study. The doctoral student and the advisory panel meet regularly, discuss the research, its progress and success, and the scientific training provided by the School.
