Content Introduction to Integrated Systems Modelling
A. Overview:
• what can it do
• where and how can it succeed
• what are the tricks of the trade
• how is it done
B. Integrated Systems Modelling:
• Systems diagrams
• Elements of computer systems models
• How to link multiple elements; multiple feedback models
• Examples – how to build models and get the most out of them
• Methods of calibration and validation; building confidence into
system models
• How to evaluate system models
• Problems of data: wrong data, missing data;…
• And: Practice, practice, practice in real integrated system modeling

Comments Students will use the STELLA software for building and running of
models; calibration and validation methods; data problems; development
of systems diagrams; and for practical exercises
