Content The course aims to familiarise students with the basic economic modelling
techniques.

The course treats the fundamentals of economic modelling as applied to
issues of environmental change and management. More specifically, the
lectures discuss: Consumer theory; producer theory; partial equilibrium;
input-output; general equilibrium; neo-classical growth theory; new
growth theory; and game theory.

Applications are mostly drawn from global environmental change,
particularly global warming.
